Jean Buton from the noble French brandy distilling Buton family arrived in Italy in 1800s. He was taken by Italy’s art of wine-making and decided to produce a truly Italian brandy, Vecchia Romagna was founded in 1870 and is recognised as the world’s best-selling Italian Brandy today.
