Australia’s oldest family owned and run brewery with a legacy that began in 1862 by Thomas Cooper. The family has been brewing their signature craft Pale Ale’s for 6 generations. Coopers adopted a unique method of natural fermentation and conditioning in the 1800s, a small amount of live yeast is added to the beer just before bottling or kegging. This causes a secondary fermentation in the bottle or keg which carbonates the beer and eliminates the need for any preservatives or additives. Coopers continue to follow the traditional Coopers brewing methods along with cutting edge production technology that has enables them to deliver a consistent brew of high-quality beers and robust flavours. Coopers has won numerous recognitions for its contribution to Australian beer culture and their award-winning craft brews including Champion Brewery at the Adelaide Beer & Cider Awards.
Fruity and floral characters, balanced with a crisp bitterness, it compelling flavours are perfect for any occasion. Naturally fermented in the “Burton-upon-Trent” style, Coopers trademark second fermentation process.
