Under the watchful eye of our Master Distiller, the spirit is initially matured in the finest American white oak ex-bourbon casks. This gives its first base of soft vanilla and honey notes. The precious whisky is the apportioned between the American white oak casks and aged Tawny Port pipes from W & J Grahams vineyard in Portugal. The two parts are then brought back together to harmonize.
