
Monte Pacifico Merlot
Rapel Valley is a warm, dry region that makes a wide range of wine styles, ranging from everyday wines to some of Chile’s most expensive and prestigious offerings. It is flanked on both sides by mountain ranges – the Andes and the Coastal Range that shelter the Rapel Valley from the cold influences of the Pacific Ocean. The region is known to produce mainly International grape varieties for the production of red wines that are fruit-forward with soft tannins.
Grape varieties: Merlot
Nose: Very fruity on the nose with touches of blackberries and currant
Palate: Pleasant and vivacious entry, light body with diffused tannins at the end
