Founder Stanislao Cobianchi wanted to create a bottle as unique as the elixir it contained. The distinctive vial shaped bottle is reminiscent of a potion conjured through alchemy (magic). The iconic bitters was born in 1885 and renamed just over a decade later to Amaro Montenegro as a tribute to her Royal Highness Princess Elena of Montenegro. It is crafted from a secret blend of 40 botanicals collected from all over the world it is the perfect balance on sweet, citrus, bitter and herbaceous.
