One of the oldest wineries in Rioja, Spain, it was founded in 1859 and situated in Haro, they launched their first wines in 1904. The largest vineyard holding in the prestigious Rioja Alta they produce some of the best quality grapes in the area. The wines are made with carefully selected Tempranillo grapes from their estate-owned vineyards. The wines are aged in American oak barrels resulting in an outstanding wine that embodies the classic style of authentic Rioja. Viña Pomal is one of the highest awarded producers from the Rioja region.
