MEET OUR FOX – ADAM RENARD!
Say bonjour to Adam Renard, our at times enigmatic and mostly naughty fox. As a tiny cute fox cub, Adam would spend most of his time running around grape vines often tripping and falling. His mother, Mrs.Renard would sing songs to pacify him. Her songs paired with the captivating taste of the sweet grapes would lift his spirits like nothing else. The songs that Mrs.Renard sang told the tales of the legendary French winemakers and their adventurous journeys across the magical French landscapes. These songs cemented a strong foundation for little Adam upon which his love and curiosity for winemaking and wines stood tall.

His father, Mr.Renard was an expert wine-taster at a local winery. He would spend the morning hours at his job tasting a wide range of wines and return home in the late afternoon for a much deserved nappy nap. In the evenings, Adam would accompany his father to the vineyards for regular inspections and documentations. He would watch him with beaming curiosity as Mr.Renard carefully felt the contours of the grapes and made diagrams in his leather bound journal. Mr.Renard would teach his son the ways of winemaking and would talk about different grapes and how a trained eye could easily distinguish between two grapes that looked very much alike. Little Adam was brought up with love, stories, songs and a passion for winemaking.

Now, Adam Renard can be seen in and around the vineyards and offices of ‘What The Fox!’. He has learnt the modern ways of winemaking – which he blends with the old songs and stories from his childhood, thus bringing to the table a new outlook on winemaking. He can be seen attending meetings, tasting wines, conducting seminars, studying grapes and expanding the brand. In his free time, he enjoys singing songs, playing pranks and above all, being truly happy.
